"I *love* the lounge at 1300. It is classy, beautiful, and elegant, with an amazing wall of backlit photos that showcase the history of the Fillmore area. The decor is beautiful and feels almost like an ivy league library. The drinks are creative and tasty, and the lounge menu is delicious. I love going there for dinner, or sometimes just for a drink and dessert. Five stars for the lounge. "

"AMBIANCE/DÉCOR: WOW! Kudos to the interior designer who managed to create a thoughtful, warm, stunning, and beautiful restaurant/lounge. As you walk through the huge wooden doors, I was amazed to see a restaurant like this situated in the 'Mo. The main dining room is stunning with gray walls and curtains. The high ceilings have hanging etched spot lights. I love the tree branches in the corner as it gave a wintery feel. The highlight of place has to be the lounge which is artfully decorated with a wall compiled of old jazz pictures that light up."

"Let me start off by saying that this hotel is drop-dead georgeous! It looks exactly like the website and the designers and management staff are always tweaking the hotel to improve your experience. The lobby has a pleasant fragrance in the air and when I inquired the front desk attendant infomed me that the scent was especially made for Avia. My room was the epitome of contemporary chic. "I'm not one for Tripadvisor reviews unless something is extra special. The Hotel Sax is that. Perfect service, lobby, decor, staff, bar, the rooms were also clean yet quirky. The Sax has thought of absolutely everything before you even think of it- down to posting you new keys through the door during the night when you've lost your own! Great shower, cool view, just everything we could have asked for and more. The hotel bar- Crimson Lounge, was also one of the best hotels bars I've ever been to, a hard feat when a bar is inside a hotel. great decor, great drinks, just an amazing hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone- colleagues, clients and friends/family too."
