Aileen is a Project Manager and Senior Designer at McCartan. Prior to beginning a career as an accomplished Interior Designer and Project Manager, Aileen practiced law for two years in Taiwan after receiving a Bachelor of Law from Fu Jen University in Taiwan. She then went on to follow her passion in Interior Design by attaining an Associate in Science, Interior Design from Shih Chien University in Taiwan. In 2005 she received a Master of Science, Interior Design from the Pratt Institute in New York.  

Before joining McCartan, Aileen was a Project Architectural Designer with Wilson & Associates, New York. Projects where she contributed her talents include the Ritz Carlton Residences NY, a 10 building complex with clubhouse, The Ritz Carlton Dubai, an 84 story Hotel & Residences with 300 guestrooms spa, health club, restaurant and renovations of Fairmont Hotels in Monte Carlo, Monaco and Washington DC. Recently at McCartan, she has been the Project Manager for Avia Long Beach part of a new collection of boutique hotels completed in 2009. She also worked last year on a new Meridien hotel for Central Boston.

As Project Manager, Aileen brings to McCartan an international design background, a keen eye for detail and problem solving capabilities throughout all project phases. From hand-sketching to virtual visualization and construction documentation, our clients enjoy Aileen’s creativity and consistent thoroughness in how she communicates through all phases of the design process. Aileen is fluent in both Taiwanese and Mandarin.
